The Auditor and staff are responsible for the accounting and computer functions for the county. The duties of the office include auditing all claims against the county, paying the claims and maintaining the financial records. The Auditor is responsible for payroll and benefits including compliance with state and federal statutes. The Auditor prepares monthly financial reports, the annual report and annual budget process. Additional duties include insurance, county assistance liens, liquor licenses, inventory, sale of real and personal property and passports.
