Office Hours: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. - Monday through Friday including the noon hour. The office is closed for holidays.

The Register of Deeds Office is the primary records office for the county.

Land records including deeds, mortgages, satisfactions and easements, etc as well as military discharge records, state and federal tax liens, UCC's, and other documents are recorded or filed and maintained with the Register of Deeds.

In addition to document recordation, the Register of Deeds issues South Dakota Birth, marriage and death certificates and marriage licenses.

All documents must comply with the document standards law.

A self addressed postage paid return envelope is required for the return of all documents.
