Grant County provides the CodeRED emergency alert system for both residents and visitors. This system ensures timely communication during emergencies and important local events.
What is CodeRED?
CodeRED is a notification service used to send emergency alerts or general community messages via:
- Phone calls
- Emails
- Text messages
- Social media
- Mobile app notifications
The mobile app is provides location-based alerts to ensure you get emergency info relevant to your GPS location. This is useful while traveling through other CodeRED-participating communities.

Do I need to renew my registration?
- No renewal needed unless your contact info changes
- If you move or change phone numbers, update your CodeRED profile
