Grant County provides the CodeRED emergency alert system for both residents and visitors. This system ensures timely communication during emergencies and important local events.

What is CodeRED?

CodeRED is a notification service used to send emergency alerts or general community messages via:

  • Phone calls
  • Emails
  • Text messages
  • Social media
  • Mobile app notifications

The mobile app is provides location-based alerts to ensure you get emergency info relevant to your GPS location. This is useful while traveling through other CodeRED-participating communities.

  • Be sure to register a corded phone, mobile phone, or work number as an alternate

Do I need to renew my registration?

  • No renewal needed unless your contact info changes
  • If you move or change phone numbers, update your CodeRED profile
