Commission
The Grant County Commission is an elected board responsible for overseeing county management. Commissioners are elected by district to serve staggered four-year terms, with regular meetings held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The Commission‘s duties include serving as the Drainage Board and Board of Equalization. The Commissioners are responsible for the sale or the preservation of county property, reviewing and approval of the yearly budget for all departments, approve payment of bills, the purchase of property for county use, review and approval of the Five Year Highway Plan, establish election precincts in the county, approve alcoholic beverage licenses within the county, construction of county bridges and culverts and maintaining the county gravel and asphalt roads.
