Public Health Services

The Grant County Department of Health delivers essential public health services through a network of regional and county offices. The South Dakota Department of Health’s Community Health Services and WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) programs offer a variety of health services to the public. 

Services Provided

• Community Health – Blood Pressure, Vision Testing , Hemoglobin and more
• WIC (Women, Infants, Children)
• Developmental Screening
• Breastfeeding – Issue manual breastpump and loan of electric breastpump for special circumstances
• Prenatal Care – Monthly education visit with Nurse
• Post Partum Services
• Child Safety Seats for those who qualify
• Pack-n-Plays
• Immunizations
